BGA & Component Level Repairs

We offer a BGA Rework & Reballing service, BGA stands for Ball Grid Array and it is the method used to attach GPUs/CPUs to motherboards using Surface Mount Technology.

Faults such as Xbox RROD & Playstation YLOD, freezes, no picture on the screen, Computers & Laptops are also affected in the same manor.

This happens due to manufactuers using Lead-Free solder, Lead-Free solder after time and use becomes brittle and may sometimes cause shorts, cause system freezes and ultimately make your device un-usuable & Fail.

We use state of the art InfraRed IR equipment to heat the chip up to a precise controlled temperature, cleanly lift the GPU/CPU off the board, remove the old Lead-Free Solder.

Reball the the Chip with Leaded solder and then re-attach it to the board again using our specialist InfraRed IR equipment.

if the GPU/CPU is damaged due to the Lead-Free Solder, We will replace the chip with a new one.
